"Working on my portfolio between nursing shifts, I started my course with Rowena by e-mail, so that even before my first lesson I had a considerable body of work. I thoroughly enjoyed my lessons and with determination and Rowena's support and superb tuition, I gained a place on the BA Fashion Studies at London College of Fashion. At my interview I was congratulated on having such an excellent portfolio and offered a place there and then. I graduated from London College of Fashion in 2007 with a First Class honours degree (coming top of my year with 95%). Whilst studying at London College of Fashion I worked part-time as a design assistant to Edina Ronay and am now launching myself as a freelance fashion designer". Claire Gaudion
"After a year on the Foundation Course at Central Saint Martins, I failed to secure a place on their BA in Fashion. I took a year off to travel and with Rowena's help and enthusiasm, I regained my confidence, produced a portfolio that I was really proud to show, applied to Saint Martins again and gained a place on the BA in Fashion & Knitwear. Rowena motivated and inspired me when I had lost all hope of a career in fashion. I have now graduated from Saint Martins and am working for Alice Temperley". Kelly Townsend
"I travelled from Athens to study with Rowena, who was recommended to me by a friend. It was a fantastic experience working with her in her studio and learning so many new design techniques. I was really pleased with my portfolio when it was finished and was offered a place during my interview on 'Foundation Studies in Art and Design' at London College of Fashion, which was my first choice".
